Home affairs department blasted for corruption by its own staff

More than one in three staff at the Department of Home Affairs think some of their colleagues act for personal gain, in a major red flag for corruption at the powerful agency.

The National Anti-Corruption Commission integrity survey also found that one in nine DHA staff (11 per cent) said there was “petty crime” in the department.
