MATRIC high achiever Manzil Harikaran-Giandev of Crawford La Lucia has set a remarkable academic standard with 11 distinctions, including specialised subjects like further studies mathematics and physics.
His perfect score in engineering graphics and design showcases extraordinary talent and dedication to excellence.
The schools North Coast and La Lucia campuses have achieved outstanding 2025 matric results in the 2023 IEB exams with 100% pass rates at both schools.
This afternoon celebrations were also underway at Crawford International La Lucia, where pupils marked a proud milestone as they received their results.
Their 99 pupils achieved a 100% pass rate, with 97% qualifying for Bachelor’s degree study and 3% earning diploma passes.
Among the standout achievers was Manzil.
He also earned a perfect score of 100% in engineering graphics and design.
Shyla Jithoo followed with nine distinctions, while Ethan Desmond, Leoni Govender, Priyanka Hariparshad, Liam Kidd-Anderson, Sanjana Rajkaran, Erin Ogilvie and Keira Naidoo each achieved eight distinctions.
Pupils achieving seven distinctions included Rhyah Balliram, Kirthavia Chetty, Carel Gosnell, Weien Amy Luo, Kyra Moodley, Hiranya Pillay, Gauri Sharma and Shayl Vallabjee.
National recognition was awarded to Manzil and Sanjana Rajkaran, who each received IEB Outstanding Achievement Awards for ranking in the top 5% nationally across six or more subjects.
At Crawford International North Coast, 96.15% of the pupils qualified for Bachelor’s degree study, while the remaining 3.85% attained diploma passes.
Several pupils delivered notable individual performances across a wide range of subjects.
Dristhi Ramsumer and Nirandhan Naidoo led with nine distinctions each. Tayur Lushen Moodley and Nathan Howden Claydon followed with eight distinctions, while Lwandle Gumede and Tayla Colleen Tozer achieved seven distinctions. Brendon Moodley and Rivan Naidoo each earned six distinctions.
The principals of both schools congratulated the Class of 2025 and wished them every success as they embark on the next chapter of their journeys.
