Days after signing Monnapule Saleng, reigning league champions Mamelodi Sundowns made another statement by securing the services of Bafana Bafana defender Khulumani Ndamane and Colombian striker Brayan Leon.
The 21-year-old Ndamane has just returned from Africa Cup of Nations duty in Morocco, where he didn’t feature in any of South Africa’s games.
“Masandawana welcomes Khulumani Ndamane as the latest addition to the Yellow Family,” the club said when making the announcement on X on Monday afternoon.
Earlier on Monday, Sundowns confirmed they had completed the signing of Leon from Independiente Medellín for a reported R50 million.

The 25-year old is expected to spearhead Sundowns’ attack as they look to chase down league leaders Orlando Pirates and win a ninth consecutive Betway Premiership title.
According to reports, Khuliso Mudau has been linked with a transfer away, with Orlando Pirates emerging as his potential destination.
Following the shock transfer that saw Monnapule Saleng join Sundowns – a move with direct implications for what is shaping up to be one of the most intriguing league title races in recent memory – the potential arrival of Mudau at Pirates would raise the stakes even further.
With Sundowns continuing to strengthen across multiple positions and their closest rivals also active in the market, the balance of power at the top of the Betway Premiership appears more fluid than it has been in years.
As the title race gathers pace, these high-profile moves could prove decisive –in determining who lifts the trophy come the end of the season.
