New year, new business ventures!
South African beloved singer, Lady Du (real name Duduzile Ngwenya) has entered the new year with a bang after introducing and launching her new wine brand “Sip of Piano”.
The name of the wine brand perfectly resonates with her personal brand as an Amapiano singer, who has created so many Amapiano hit songs that went viral across the globe.
On Christmas Eve, she revealed the exciting news about her new business venture and also shared that it is self-funded.
“I have my own wine 😭😭😭😭 self funded ❤️ I’m still in production but you know me!!!!! I don’t wait for the perfect moment!!!! I dream, I execute and launch ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. We don’t plan here we decide ❤️,” she captioned her post.

Besides her music, Lady Du has also opened multiple businesses to create and grow her own empire.
This marks the vocalist’s third business venture as she already has launched Wawa La Beauty salon in Kwa-Themba, Ekurhuleni.
The “Dakiwe” hitmaker also launched her first book in 2024 titled “Fame or Business”, which talks about leveraging fame in business.
In a recent Instagram post, she opened up about how the journey to launching her book and wine brand were met with obstacles after she got robbed of her savings and had to start from scratch.
She shared: “Don’t ever let your ideas live in your head, you won’t see how far you can push yourself ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.
“Both my book and wine are self funded!!! At some point I got to zero, even got robbed of my savings but because I’m consistent in prayer, God has never ever left my side.”

Lady Du further added that she’s not just a singer but rather an entrepreneur and businesswoman who is using music to make her dreams into reality.
“I want to push the boundaries!!!! I’m not just a musician, I’m an entrepreneur using music to make my dreams come true.”
She also shared with her supporters that they must be on the lookout for new music this year as she will be releasing some.
