South African influencer Munaka Muthambi announced that she and her partner have gone their separate ways.
Taking to Instagram recently, she shared a series of images that they took during the course of their relationship as well as memories they created together.
In the caption, the reality TV star shared that this was the “most honest and healthiest” relationship she has ever been in.

“Didn’t want to post this but then I remembered I have free will. God knows I loved this man. We broke up 2 months ago.”
We can all agree that breakups are deeply painful, and while some may wonder why she’s sharing this two months later, there is no ‘right’ timeline for healing. Everyone processes the end of a relationship at their own pace.
“Thank you for loving me. To be loved is to be seen and I was seen. This is the most honest, healthiest and loving relationship I’ve ever been in. Thanks for loving every part of me,” she said.
She also highlighted that their relationship did not end because they were unhappy in the relationship but rather because of “circumstances beyond their control”.
Prior to sharing the news about the break-up, Muthambi kept her relationship private and hardly shared anything about it on social media.
In addition, the influencer has made headlines last year for her reasons as to why she decided to leave the “Piano Pulse” podcast as well as her involvement in the Alabuga Russian program.
She shared that her reasons as to why she was leaving the podcast at the time was because she “prayed about it” and “God told her to leave”.
In August 2024, the Alabuga Russian program drew widespread condemnation following allegations of human trafficking.
The program specifically targeted South African women aged 18 to 22 for hospitality roles and was heavily promoted by local influencers.
Consequently, she and several other high-profile influencers faced intense public backlash and were called out on social media for their role in endorsing the controversial scheme.
