Award-winning South African musician Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, popularly known as Makhadzi, has opened up about the injuries she suffered following a car accident that took place on 31 December 2025. The singer took to social media to give fans a glimpse into her recovery journey, showing both her physical pain and emotional strength.
On her social media pages, Makhadzi shared a video of herself doing physiotherapy, with visible bandages showing the extent of her injuries. Despite the pain, the award-winning star appeared determined and hopeful as she worked through her physio session. What touched many fans even more was the fact that she paired the video with an original song, which she recorded after the accident. In the song, Makhadzi sings about how she has been feeling since the incident, using music as a way to express her emotions.
In the caption of the video, Makhadzi opened up about a difficult and lonely moment she experienced during her recovery. She wrote, “My physio started attending me yesterday … after the session I was lonely, I decided to record myself this song .. I got the beats from the guy I don’t know, I think he sent me this beat longtime ago and I didn’t see it. I just found it on my search .. But I am coming back l am healing.”
The post showed not only her physical healing but also how she is using music to cope with her emotions. Even while recovering, Makhadzi continues to create, proving her deep passion for music and her commitment to her craft.
The singer gave fans more reassurance that she is on the road to recovery and will be back soon. She wrote, “Coming back strong soon … Few weeks left… I recorded this song last night … I was feeling lonely… keep sending me beats… I will be working on them.”
