The couple recently enjoyed a delightful beach vacation on the beautiful KwaZulu-Natal South Coast with their children, sharing their experiences on Instagram.
Mthombeni posted a series of pictures and videos showcasing their blended family enjoying a fun-filled day at the beach.

In a charming video, Mthombeni walks hand in hand with Booth, the former Bafana Bafana player, as they stroll along the sandy shore.
“Beach vibes with my love,” she expressed, capturing the essence of their relationship.

In another clip, Booth is seen embracing his role as a father, swimming joyfully with the boys.
The couple also shared a quiet moment, sipping their morning coffee while watching the waves crash against the rocks, a scene that epitomises relaxation and togetherness.
Mthombeni proudly refers to Booth as her life partner, as reflected in her Instagram bio: “Life Partner to my Love, Booth ♥️, Mom to our boys.”
Their relationship, however, has not been without its challenges.
The couple’s journey began amid controversy, with accusations of infidelity from both sides.
The couple gained significant media attention when Sonia Booth, the former Miss South Africa first runner-up (2001), revealed that her then-husband Matthew Booth had cheated on her with his trainer in 2022.
Initially, Mthombeni and Booth denied the affair, but the truth came to light when Mthombeni’s then-husband confirmed that they had “eaten the cheesecake” supposedly baked by Booth, a metaphorical reference that hinted at the affair.
Following the exposure of their relationship, both Booth and Mthombeni left their previous partners and have since embraced their new life together.
They have successfully blended their families, frequently sharing affectionate posts on their Instagram accounts that reflect their strong bond.
In 2024, during the festive season, the couple took their blended family to Mauritius, where Mthombeni affectionately refers to Booth’s children as “our boys.”
She described the trip as a “milestone year deserving of a milestone destination experience,” highlighting the love, romance and quality family time they shared.
Mthombeni’s post captured the essence of their holiday: “Naturally, with my love and our boys. Love, romance, opulence, indulgence, relaxation, exercise (obviously), nature, a teenage birthday, quality family time, and reunions with friends.”
