Siya Kolisi is cruising into the new year, enjoying some downtime at Victoria Falls, located on the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia.
The Springboks captain shared snapshots of his vacation on his Instagram stories, providing fans with a glimpse into his leisurely getaway.
In one of the pictures, Kolisi is seen enjoying a sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River.
He also shared a video of him enjoying a day out at Victoria Falls with the sprays of the thundering Mosi-oa-Tunya cooling him off.
Another image captures him wrapped in a chitenga while sipping a beer, accompanied by the popular Amapiano lover’s anthem, “Asibe Happy” by Ami Faku, DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small.
Although Kolisi hasn’t disclosed who he is vacationing with, the photos suggest that he is not alone, as he appears beaming and full of smiles throughout.
A closer look at one of the pictures reveals a reflection of a woman taking his photo in his sunglasses, sparking speculation about his personal life.
Kolisi is rumoured to be dating Rachel John, a Dutch Nigerian model and author.
Recently, John travelled to Jeffrey’s Bay South Africa to celebrate her birthday after spending Christmas with her family in Amsterdam.
Reports indicate that Kolisi attended John’s 25th birthday celebrations in Jeffrey’s Bay, coincidentally being in the surf haven at the same time.
Kolisi and John have not denied claims that they are a pair.
On the rugby front, Kolisi is preparing to leave his life in Durban and his home club, the Sharks, as he returns to Cape Town to join the DHL Stormers, a team he first joined in 2012.
According to Kolisi, this move – set to take place at the end of the season – is motivated by his desire to be closer to his children who live with his ex-wife, Rachel Kolisi, in the Western Cape.
In a statement, he expressed, “My family is in Cape Town, and it is important to me to be close to them. This move gives me the chance to do that while also giving back to the team and fans who made such a big contribution to the player and person I am today.”
He added, “I am looking forward to contributing in any way I can to the future success and happiness of this special club and its incredible supporters.”
