Rachel John, Siya Kolisi’s rumoured new girlfriend, recently marked her 25th birthday surrounded by close friends and the Bok’s captain also joined in on the celebrations.
Taking to her Instagram stories on Sunday, January 4, John shared that she is back in South Africa to celebrate her 25th birthday and the next story was a short clip of the birthday celebration.
“About last night. Celebrating at the Surflodge where it all started,” she wrote, revealing that she celebrated her birthday on January 3, at Jeffreys Bay.
For the influencer, Jeffreys Bay holds a special significance for her, as it was the destination of her initial travels in SA after a planned work trip there was cancelled.
Prior to sharing the Instagram stories, she shared a post of her holding a one-tier white birthday cake that was decorated with black bows as well as black writing on top.
The model captioned her post: “Waited all of 2025 for this.”

She also confirmed in the comments that her birthday was on December 31.
Kolisi was also present at the celebration and shared a video on his Instagram of the stunning views from the location.
One would certainly think that the rumoured couple are soft-launching their relationship on social media? Probably.
The pair have been speculated to be in a romantic relationship for quite some time now, however they have neither confirmed or denied the speculations.
However, with the subtle hints that they keep on giving such as Kolisi’s heart emoji comments on John’s posts and the model’s decision to paint the Liverpool logo onto her new surfing board.
Now, Kolisi being present at the birthday celebration, fans are convinced that they are dating.
I mean such hints are certainly hard to ignore, right?
Additionally, it is not surprising that she continued the birthday celebrations here in Mzansi, as she revealed that she travels between Amsterdam and SA.
Her surf camps are also located in Mzansi.
