Eswatini warmly welcomed American YouTube sensation IShowSpeed, real name is Darren Jason Watkins Jr., as he embarked on an ambitious journey to tour 20 African countries in just 28 days.

His Royal Highness Prince Sazi Dlamini and Princess Lomabheka, children of King Mswati, greeted the popular YouTuber upon his arrival.

As part of his tour, Speed has been live streaming from each destination, with Eswatini being the latest country to host him.

The Prince and Princess shared photos of their encounter with Speed on their social media platforms, with Prince Sazi expressing his gratitude: “Thanks my bro @ishowspeed. It was great to have you.”

During his visit to Eswatini, Speed had the unique opportunity to immerse himself in Swati culture.

He explored a tribal village, where he learned about local traditions and customs.

Additionally, he met with a sangoma, a traditional healer, who predicted that he would become a celebrity and gain a large following.

Speed also visited a boys-only hangout in Eswatini, where he sampled inhloko, a traditional meal typically reserved for men.

He was captivated by the stunning beauty of the country, sharing: “This country is beautiful.”

Speed’s Eswatini adventure ended up with him being trained as a tribal soldier and being given an official tribal name, Logijimago (The runner), sealing him as part of the tribe.

His African adventure has been action-packed, having previously received a warm welcome in South Africa.
