Mzansi, le season ye Big Brother Mzansi iza nomsindo! This new season is already making noise as Biggie brings a fresh twist that fans did not see coming. This time around, Big Brother is giving a voice and a second chance to seven former housemates who had a short run in their previous seasons. These housemates now have an opportunity to rewrite their stories and prove that they deserve to be back in the game.
The seven Big Brother alumni hoping for redemption are Dube, Mmeli, Fahima, Sipha Lee, Bravo B, Lerato Modise, and Liema. However, their return is not guaranteed. Their future in the house is in the hands of the viewers. Biggie is calling on Mzansi to vote for the former housemates they want to see back in the competition. Only four housemates with the highest number of votes will enter Biggie’s house. The results will be announced live on Sunday, 11 January at 18:00 on Mzansi Magic, DStv Channel 161.
Dube, a content creator and TV personality, first appeared on Big Brother Mzansi season 5: Umlilo. His journey ended before it could even begin when fellow housemates did not vote for him to enter the house during the premiere episode. This shocking moment sparked a lot of conversation, with fans wondering what he could have brought to the game.
Mmeli, a model, was introduced to viewers on Big Brother Titans: Ziyakhala Wahala. He became the fifth housemate to be evicted. An infamous pairing twist affected his journey, and many fans believe it ended his game too early. Still, Mmeli stood out with his charisma, authenticity, and resilience.
Fahima, a performer and singer, joined Big Brother Mzansi season 4: S’ya Mosha as a bold Disrupter. She lasted 21 days, but her role was designed to be temporary. Many fans felt she held back because she knew her time in the house was limited.
Sipha Lee, an actor and model, competed on season 5: Umlilo. His strong gameplay and bold personality took him to Day 28. Being part of the Bandana Boys may have contributed to his exit, a story he is eager to change.
Bravo B, an event host, appeared on season 4: S’ya Mosha but was disqualified in Week 1 for making offensive remarks. Since then, he has shown remorse, taken accountability, and committed himself to personal growth.
Lerato Modise, a philanthropist and entrepreneur, lasted until Day 50 on S’ya Mosha. Her journey ended in the Fate Room after spinning the Wheel of Fate and landing on “Evicted.”
Finally, Liema, an artist and reality TV personality, became a fan favourite on season 4. On Day 57, she shocked viewers by taking R250 000 and leaving the house, sparking debates about whether she could have won it all.
Now, Mzansi must decide who truly deserves a second chance.
