Vuyokazi Nciweni has finally broken her silence, and she is not holding back. After a special Uthando Nes’thembu: Uncut episode revealed new and shocking family drama, the 27-year-old took to Facebook to share her side of the story. According to Daily Sun, the episode stunned viewers when MaYeni, Musa Mseleku’s second wife, claimed that Vuyokazi took her granddaughter from the family home under false pretences “and never returned her”. The revelation immediately set social media on fire, with fans demanding answers.
By the next day, Vuyokazi decided to address the accusations head-on. In a lengthy post, which she mentioned she would delete soon, she explained that the real story goes far deeper than what viewers saw on TV. She began by going back to 2019, the year she fell pregnant with Mpumelelo’s first child, and when she says her troubles first began.
Sharing her experience openly, she wrote, “Just a glimpse of what happened back then. 2019. Got pregnant, started getting phone calls from girlfriends, got threatening texts, accused of witchcraft and was accused of a miscarriage that occurred around that time.” Her words painted a picture of a stressful and painful time, filled with accusations and emotional pressure.
But according to Vuyokazi, the situation became even more complicated. She claimed that fake social media accounts were created using her name, accounts she says were used to insult MaYeni and her sisters, causing more tension within the family. “Fake accounts were created using my name. His mum called my mum because apparently, I swore at her on social media,” she said.
She described how the emotional stress nearly cost her everything. “I got dumped and almost lost my daughter due to the stress of defending myself against all this,” she wrote. Feeling unsafe and overwhelmed, she opened a case in 2020 shortly after giving birth. She added, “2020, I gave birth, opened a case because I was scared. The real person behind the fake accounts and texts was found by his dad, apologies were made.”
Despite the turmoil, Vuyokazi revealed that she and Mpumelelo eventually got back together in 2021, though she hinted that the full story is much bigger than what she shared publicly. “2021, got back together, there’s still so much more. And I’m not explaining myself… I’m just annoyed. It gets to a point.”
