Club host and reality TV star Inno Morolong is proudly celebrating one full year of sobriety, a milestone she says has completely transformed her life. The 33-year-old star shared that leaving alcohol behind has helped make 2025 one of her best and most peaceful years yet.
According to Daily Sun, for a long time, Inno was known for going live on Instagram while drunk, and she faced several arrests for assault during moments when she was intoxicated. Looking back now, she says the decision to quit alcohol was one of the strongest and most important choices she has ever made.
“After I stopped drinking, I have seen so many improvements in my life. I’m more productive, I feel good, and my skin is glowing. I saved a lot of money; the alcohol I drank was expensive champagne and single reserves. I also see changes in my health, I have more energy and time for work. I work out and take care of myself more, and my head is always in a clear place to think rationally at all times,” she said.
However, the road to sobriety wasn’t easy. Inno explained that she had to be honest with herself about the damage alcohol was causing in her life.
“Alcohol brought me so many downfalls and setbacks more than fun times. Waking up with a hangover can delay a person in so many ways. It cost me money, friendships, and relationships. There’s so much I can say, but I choose not to because I’ve moved on from all of that and am in just a peaceful and tranquil headspace,” she shared.
Even though she still works in clubs as a host, she says her discipline is what helps her stay focused and committed to her new lifestyle. “Being disciplined and still not drinking while I work at clubs is my biggest flex because while people are fighting over champagne, I’m chilled with my water or energy drink. Not drinking alcohol also saves a person from a lot of things,” she said proudly.
Her personal growth has also opened doors for new achievements. Inno starred in the five-part Showmax documentary Slay Queens, bought herself a new Mercedes-Benz, and celebrated her 12-year-old daughter Lesedi winning the Junior title of The Face of Mathabeng in the Free State, along with the Business Winner 2025 award for her sweet treats venture.
“Motherhood changed me and improved me in so many ways,” she said, reflecting on her journey.
