Why did they come to South Africa?

After the Zulus were defeated in the Battle of the Blood River in 1838 by the Boers, the Republic of Natalia was established.

King Shaka, 1816 to 1828, one of the greatest Zulu kings, united various clans into a single powerful Zulu nation. In uniting the clans, the Zulus became a major threat to the success of the colonisation in South Africa.
