Famous South African DJ cum producer DJ Black Coffee has dragged entertainment enthusiast Nota Baloyi to court after breaching a cease and desist order the DJ filed against him.

The two are set to appear before the Randburg Magistrate Court as the court will hear a cease and desist order Black Coffee brought against Nota.

Nota recently accused Black Coffee of sending the cops on him after being harassed a couple of weeks ago. He allegedly had his phone taken away from him and then arrested for reckless driving and assaulting a police officer.

However, Black Coffee has responded by dragging Nota to court for defaming him and allegedly calling him an abuser.

The two have not been on good terms for a long time now, so it was not surprising when Nota revealed in an interview with Everything SA that he suspects the DJ to be behind his qualms with the police.

He said he found it coincidental that he got released after receiving the order, “I can put two and two together,” he said.

Nota later apologized after receiving the order but that didn’t stop him from posting another harsh statement about the DJ which was later edited.

Fakaza shared a part of Nota’s apology which read: “As for your claim that I defamed your character I’m sorry to break it to you but it wasn’t me. Your skeletons will come tumbling out the closet and you won’t be able to single handedly stop that. Apologies again and Happy Easter I hope all your children are gifted with your presence and not just presents. Who knows maybe you can start being a exemplary father at 45!”

After the police harassment the controversial entertainment commentator later revealed in an Instagram post that he has filed for protection order against those cops who harrassed him and the DJ Black Coffee.

“Those same cops threatened to arrest me again today and I’m applying for a protection order against them and Black Coffee too. I want his phone records monitored. I’m also taking this matter up with the minister of police!” he wrote.
