Actress Shoki Mokgapa’s Cause Of Death Revealed! News broke over the weekend that the former Ashes to Ashes and Intersections actress had passed away.
Shoki who won a Golden Horn back in 2017 for Best Actress in a Feature Film for her role in the film SINK. Now more details on her death have been revealed.
The actress reportedly took her own life after a long suffering with clinical depression and anxiety.
“The South Africa film and television industry has suffered a loss in the passing of local actress Shoki Mokgapa. After a long struggle with clinical depression and anxiety, she took her life on Tuesday 25th September at the age of 34. She was a brave woman who had been seeking help but the disease proved to be stronger than her,” MLA’s artist manager Wesley Mark said in a statement.
