The Regal Film Festival and Awards (REFFA) has officially opened submissions for its annual film festival, scheduled to take place from December 10–13, 2025, in Accra, Ghana.
This year’s edition invites filmmakers from across Africa to submit their works, with the aim of showcasing the continent’s diverse and dynamic contributions to contemporary cinema.
Dedicated to celebrating the art of filmmaking, REFFA provides a platform for both emerging and established filmmakers to share their stories. Eligible entries include narrative features, documentaries, indigenous films, short films, animations, and experimental works.
Submission guidelines:
- Eligibility: Films must have been completed and screened in the last 3 years.
- Categories: Entries are accepted in various categories, including Best Feature, Best Short, Best Documentary, and more.
- Deadline for Entries: The final deadline for submissions is October 15, 2025. Early submission is encouraged.
