Luanda — The Angolan veteran musician Eduardo Paím regretted on Saturday in Luanda the death of fellow artist José Machado “Mamborró”, victim of a disease.
The singer considered a blow the premature death of that who was one of the biggest entertainers of infant project dubbed “Piô Piô” of Angola National Radio (RNA).
“I lived Mamborró because I am part of this family that worked with him, especially in the initial stage of his career. I produced many of his songs and this sad event is as if I was stabbed in the back”, he said.
Angop learnt that Mamborró died at the age of 42 after being interned for 20 days in one the city’s hospital due to complications caused by diabetes.
