Luanda — The chairwoman of the National Electoral Commission (CNE), Suzana Inglês, on Tuesday here received detailed information about the functioning of the Data Processing Office of the Ministry of Territory Administration (MAT).

During a visit to the office, accompanied by the minister of Territory Administration, the chairwoman of CNE checked the premises and watched a video on the steps that have already been taken in the process of updating the voters’ registration database, as well as the

mapping of the location for the future voting stations.

At the end of the assessment visit, Suzana Inglês said to the press that she was satisfied at the explanations she got, adding that there is a concern of the executive about having trustworthy records, which coincides with that of CNE.

The CNE official was also accompanied by members of some political parties, the deputy minister of Territory Administration for institutional and electoral matters, and senior staff of the Territory Administration Ministry.
