A demonstration by IDPs protesting delayed resettlement has been stopped by police. The over 200 IDPs from Jikaze camp in Naivasha were marching to Nairobi to seek audience with Special Programmes minister Esther Murugi.
The protesters accompanied by their children say the government has neglected them and has not supplied them with relief food. Mercy Wanjiku is their leader.
