Angola: MPLA Militants Commend President’s Clarividence in Oporto

27 June 2011 Cabinda — The Angolan musician Euclides da Lomba defended on Monday the implementation of a project aimed at establishing a music school in the northern Cabinda province, taking advantage of the structures of Chiloango cultural centre. The singer said that this is a project contained in the objects of the Cultural Centre of Chiloango and it expected for its materialisation by the local artists.

Luanda — The militants of the ruling MPLA party in Oporto city, Portugal, highlighted the clarividence of the Angolan President, José Eduardo dos Santos regarding the political reforms.

According to a press note, which reached Angop, the militants expressed this position during the holding last week of 7th Assembly aimed at Assessing and Renewing terms.

The participants also acknowledged the legislative reforms carried out by José Eduardo dos Santos and by safeguarding the sovereignty, territorial integrity and the preservation of the national unity.

“The MPLA militants in Oporto condemn strongly all dilatory manoeuvres aimed at promoting the political and social instability, and thus disturbing of peace in Angola”, reads the document.
