Former Heartland of Owerri and now Lobi Stars player, Adikwu Gabriel has vowed to score against Heartland of Owerri in this weekend’s league encounter at the Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi.

Speaking with Inside Out Premier League after his team’s away victory in Ilaro, the attacking winger said the game will be tough but that Lobi will come out victorious.

He also stated that the team is hoping to squeeze a Champions league slot by winning it’s games home away from home.

“Honestly, it is going to be a very big game. Heartland is a decent side and so are we too. I know it is not going to be an easy game, but by the grace of God we will win and I will score, I am very sure of that.

“If I must tell you, our team is very sound. We have young and experienced players who are longing for something from the league when it ends. We are hoping to get something out of it, something like the Champions League slot. I am sure, if we can win our big games against Heartland, Sharks, Dolphin and Sunshine Stars, we will get the spot,” Adikwu said.

On the team’s 0-1 win over Crown FC of Ogbmosho, he said, “I feel very great because we have been asking God for one favour which has been an away win. I am happy He has finally answered us. We have been expecting this result for a while now,” he said.
