Caxito — About 23 churches were closed in Bengo Province, between January and June this year, due to lack of documents for their functioning, ANGOP has learnt.
This was said by the head of the sector of monuments and sites and religious affairs, César Manuel Muginga, who added that meetings have been held so that the officials of those congregations can submit the full documentation for the churches’ legalisation.
About 63 churches are legally operating in Bengo Province.
