Tottenham are considering an oral hearing at the High Court after their application to challenge West Ham‘s Olympic Stadium move was rejected earlier today.

West Ham won a head-to-head contest with Spurs for usage of the stadium once the Olympic Games have completed next summer, and despite protests from the north London club and Leyton Orient over the move, the decision has not been reversed.

Tottenham now have the chance to submit a fresh application via a oral hearing at the High Court, and the club have admitted they make take up that opportunity.

A club statement on the club’s official website read: “The Club has today Thursday been informed that the High Court has refused its application for permission to bring a claim against the London Borough of Newham and the Olympic Park Legacy Company, the Mayor of London and Government Ministers for judicial review of their decisions underlying the bid process for the conversion of the Olympic Stadium after the 2012 Games.

“The club now has the option of renewing its application at an oral hearing at the High Court and we shall give consideration to this in the next few days.

“As previously reported, the club continues to hold discussions with both local and national government bodies in order to seek to determine a feasible stadium solution.”
