Tijan Jaiteh chances of playing top flight football with Randers have faded after the Danish FA rejected the Club’s appeal.

Randers had their hopes of making a u-turn to the super league hanging on a spider web. The Danish side had hoped that the Denmark Football Union will consider their plea to strip points from opponent team, hom they accused of fielding an ineligible player but the FA had instead acted in the reverse condemning Tijan Jaiteh’s Randers to the second division. The move, officially confirms Randers relegation.

However, Tijan Jaiteh is rocked in a dilemma over what next for him after his loan deal ended with relegated Randers.

Tiju sealed a surprise move to Denmark two days before transfer deadline from parent club Brann. The former Ports Authority middle man had a straight go into relegation threatened Randers line up, reducing Senegalese midfielders Ousmane Sarr and Tidane Sane to surrogate bench-warmers in the process.

Since debuting for the Danish side, Jaiteh has enjoyed many minutes- game in game out, contributing in the clubs’ relegation dogging mission. Regrettably, the club could not survive the drop and the speedy midfielder is docked in a dilemma over whether to return to Bergen or play second division football in Denmark.

Randers have already forced a pay cut on its players and with Jaiteh likely to be affected, he could move back to Norway.

But should he move, a mountain task awaits him, meaning, he could be up for tough battle with Jamaican midfield starlet Rudolph Austin and El Fakiri over who starts in Brann’s eleven.

Prior to his short spell in Denmark, Tijan Jaiteh was a regular for the 2007 Norwegian champions, but with his toe injury recurrence aggravating, the 22-year-old appearances were limited and Austin had the chance to step in Jaiteh’s shoe. Jaiteh is docked in this dilemma.

If laid down rules are any to go by, the Gambian ace is expected to return.
