The Role:
The Internal Auditor must identify, evaluate, and report on complex operational and business risks and controls in accordance with established auditing standards and methodologies. He/she shall be responsible and fully proficient in working to develop and improve operational, financial, and system-related controls

• Performing financial and system Audits
• Reviewing technical or complex financial and system controls for risks, products, systems, and business functions
• Preparing Audit reports and seeing that they are properly responded to; following-up on the implementation of controls; and assisting in the design of recommended controls when necessary
• Competent knowledge of insurance and computer functions employed with occasional supervision of lower-level Auditors

Required Skills or Experience

• Degree in Accounting or Business with at least 6 years of broad-based audit experience in the service and manufacturing industries
• Certified Internal Auditor qualification or in progress
• Risk-based auditing with statistics and quantitative analysis
• Computer literate and familiar with audit software
• Capability to conduct complex studies and surveys
• Leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• An MBA would be an advantage
