13 June 2011 Last updated at 21:34 ET US officials said they have ordered a security review after hackers managed to break into the Senate website at the weekend. An official said the incident had been "inconvenient", but had not compromised the security of the staff. The confirmation came after Lulz Security, a loosely aligned group of hackers, said it had carried out the attack for fun and posted files online.

IBADAN— EIGHT principal officers of immediate past administration of Adebayo Alao-Akala in Oyo State are being qustioned  by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences, ICPC, to ascertain their involvement or otherwise  in the N8.5billion allegedly mismanaged by the administration.

Vanguard gathered that the officials who served in the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources and the Ministry of Commerce were guests of ICPC yesterday.

The former commissioners who have reportedly been quizzed were Chief Bayo Bankole, Finance, Alhaji Mukaila Aborode, Environment and Water Resources, Alhaji Muslim Oyedemi, Works and Transport, Barrister Kunle Isola, Agriculture, Dr. Nureni Adeniran, Education, and Dr Kola Blogun, Commerce and Industry.

A source said they arrived the ICPC office in Bodija area of Ibadan at 10 am .
They were said to have been stopped from traveling abroad until the conclusion of the investigation.

This development, Vanguard gathered was sequel to the invitation of six former Commissioners in the state by the anti-corruption agency.

They had earlier appeared before the commission in Abuja the penultimate week over awards of contracts in the state.
The former government officials were said to have remained with the commission for several hours to explain their roles in the scam.
