Samba-Caju — At least 7.645 children, under five years old, were immunised against poliomyelitis in Samba-Caju district in the northern Kwanza Norte province, in the framework of the national vaccination campaign that happened on 27-29 May.
This was said to Angop on Thursday by the local supervisor of the Expanded Vaccination Programme (PAV), Ângelo Kucondala Kanjamba.
According to him, the local health sector counted on the participation of 10 vaccination mobilisers, 35 vaccinators and registers integrated in a commission led by the municipal administrator.
Ângelo Kucondala Kanjamba highlighted the citizens’ adherence to the vaccination campaign on account of the mobilisation actions made by the local health sector.
