
Hiphop/hiplife artiste, Femi Blackup released his mixtape simply titled “Sketch Book” via the Internet today. The 13 track mixtape appears to be a direct look into the artist’s personal thoughts on many different aspects of life from struggle to culture.
Femi Backup’s mixtape is an impressive body of work for the young artiste and should gain him much attention from its release date today.
Currently Femi Blackup heralds himself high as a prince in Ga and Ewe rap in the USA and is continuing to prove that he is definitely an artist to be taken seriously.
Femi Blackup simply defines the mixtape as ‘a reflection of his versatile artistry so there is something for almost every genre’. “I call it ‘Sketch Book’ because it’s a blueprint to what’s yet to come, the masterpieces”, he said.
The highly anticipated new mixtape is heavily promoted on Face Book, Twitter, other social media websites and yours truly, Ghana Music.com.
Throughout the entire recording of the mixtape, it becomes apparent that he put a lot of thought into this project.
“90% was produced by Mobeatz and the 10% by Jay Q. It’s a mixtape with a variety of styles such as rap, dancehall, hip life, highlife, poetry and even hip hop, he ended the interview.
He had help from Mobeatz, Kudjo, ReeZon and Young Vim.
