Luanda — The chairman of Luanda International Fair (FIL), Matos Cardoso, said on Sunday that the first International Fair on Environment, Services, Equipment and Environmental Technologies represents the government commitment in the protection and boosting the solid environmental policies.

Speaking to the press at the end of the fair closed on Sunday, Matos Cardoso said that the event represents the efforts of the government, entrepreneurs and society that are concerned about environmental issues by outlining and discussing solutions to handle and prevent environmental impacts.

The chairman said the misuse of has been provoking various natural calamities in the world and Angola with the destruction of social and business infrastructures.

According to him, the entrepreneurial management of development projects should always meet need of a correct action between economic profit and the preservations of species, fauna and flora.

The event was attended by companies from Angola, Brazil, China, Denmark, South Africa, Nigeria, Spain, France, Germany and US.
