The downward spiral Ghana football is experiencing has reflected in the latest FIFA ranking for the month of June.
From being Africa’s number one rated team and 15th in the world, Ghana has taken a slump from the 15th position in the world to the 33rd position.
On the African continent, however, the country nosedived just a step, placing 2nd behind La Cote d’ Ivoire.
Ghana had 509.55 points by beating Congo 3-1 in the 2012 Africa Nations Cup qualifier, but recorded no points following the Black Stars 1-2 loss to South Korea in an international friendly match on June 7, 2011.
