Having brought back former winners and contestants, one would expect talent and stage presence during their performances but this was not well executed in Tusker All Stars opening show last Sunday.
After the show, some viewers on Facebook expressed their disappointment. More attention was given to the contestants’ physical appearance, while others wondered why Tusker brought back old contestants instead of tapping new talent. Well, this time the prize is sharing a stage with Usher Raymond and Keri Hilson.
Another fan suggested that they sing their own compositions next time. Some contestants tried to impress the crowd. Davis Ntare and Carolyne, the only contestants representing Uganda, started their performances with rare dance strokes which left the crowd screaming.
With the judging system different this year, the comments from the desk are too predictable too and many fans on the social network are already calling for the return of Judge Ian Mbugua from Kenya.
