Swaziland Reveal Extensive Camping Plans To Defeat Ghana

The Black Stars will play Swaziland in Group I in September

Swaziland have unveiled their plans for two-month camp to prepare to defeat Ghana in September to dent the Black Stars chances of qualifying for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.

Shilangu will start camping on Friday for the game to played in Kumasi in September

Ghana defeated Swaziland in the first Group I clash but they southern Africans are hoping that an early camp will bond the side ahead of the clash in Kumasi.

Swaziland coach Obed Foreman Mlotsa says even though the match will be played in September, camping will start on Friday and will be upgraded in August.

“We start training on Friday at the Somhlolo National Stadium and we will do that until we go into full time camp,” Mlotsa said.

“We will train three days in a week and the players would be released every Sunday morning.

“The players need to be aware that at 5pm, we will start training and not arriving late for the session,” he said.

The Swazis are able to hold such long camping because most of their players are based at home but the Black Stars squad is dominated by foreign-based players.

Ghana will all but clinch their place at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations if they win the game to be played in Kumasi.
