The Nairobi City Council will this morning unveil a 13.4 billion shillings budget that targets to improve infrastructure within the city as well as the development of schools and health facilities.
Out of the amount, 10 billion shillings would be sourced within the council while the remaining 4.4 billion would be received from the Central Government.
Finance committee Chairman Michael Ogada Okumu is scheduled to read the budget, which is 1.2 billion more than the 12.2 billion shillings allocated during the 2010-2011 financial year.
