The Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Chris Kpodo yesterday told Parliament that, the failure of six hundred and sixty-six applicants to go and claim their processed passports amounts to an act of irresponsibility.
He asserted that, anyone who applies for a passport should be responsible enough to go and take the passport. The Deputy Minister told parliament that efforts made by officials of the passport office to reach the applicants on the provided telephone numbers have on many occasions proved futile.
He explained that while some of the numbers belong to other people other than the applicants, some of the lines were also not going through. This he chanted is very irresponsible.
