Denilson moving from Arsenal to AC Milan is just a rumour – agent

Denilson’s agent has denied that the midfielder could be set to leave Arsenal.

Reports had linked the Brazilian with a move to AC Milan but Gerardo Santiago has rubbished these claims.

He told calciomercato.it:  “I know nothing about Milan, I believe that at the moment there are only rumours.

“The only certainty at the moment is that, if nothing happens in the next few days, he will be present at the training camp of the squad on July 7.

“At the moment there are no negotiations, with Arsene Wenger we often speak about other issues, but we have never touched on the possible departure of Denilson.”

Arsenal are already facing potential losses in their midfield with Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri both wanted by other clubs.

Denilson joined the Gunners in 2006 and has gone on to make over 150 appearances for Wenger’s side.

He has found first-team opportunities increasingly limited, however, due to injuries and the emergence of Jack Wilshere.
