Court of Arbitration for Sport Upholds AshantiGold’s Claims In Opoku Agyemang’s Transfer

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) have upheld certain claims by AshantiGold over the transfer of Ghanaian player Opoku Agyemang to Qatari side, Al Sadd by Tunisia’s SC Sfaxien.

Cas in its ruling by a Single Judge in the matter which begun last year directed SC Sfaxien to pay AshantiGold, the claimant, € 733,766, representing 30% due to the Ghanaian side following the onward transfer of their former player, Opoku Agyemang to Al Sadd.

Sfaxien have 30 days as from the notification of the decision to comply with the directive by Cas.
