Luanda — The national soccer team climbed two places in the ranking of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), updated this Wednesday, occupying now the 102nd position with 329 points.
The last victory of “Palancas Negras” that happened this month against Kenya (1-0) during the eliminatory game qualifier for the 2012 African Nations Cup (CAN2012), influenced the national team’s move upwards.
Cote d’Ivoire is the best ranked African team, occupying the 14th position with 922 points, ahead of France, United States of America, Russia and Denmark.
