Teenage sensation Connor Wickham is being backed to open his Sunderland account by scoring against Liverpool on his debut.

Wickham (18) was linked with a move the to Reds before the Black Cats swooped in a deal which could reach £12m. Online bookmaker bet365 have the forward @ 3/1 to score against Kenny Dalglish’s team when the clubs meet on the opening day of the season at Anfield.
