Luanda — A conference on “Taking advantage of solar energy for Angola’s development” happens this Wednesday at the premises of Angola Writers Union (EUA), in Luanda, promoted by the non governmental organisation Vida pela Vida – Bloco Verde.
In an interview to ANGOP, the chairman of the NGO, Beto Dido, said that the conference aims at informing the population on the importance of using renewable energy and its new technologies available in the market and its advantages to improve the environment.
Beto Dido said that the use of renewable energy with new technologies can be more economic, efficient and contribute to improving the environment, since it does not release polluting gases in the atmosphere.
The meeting will have as lecturer the chairman of the Codisa Angola company, Nafize Madatali, specialist in renewable energy sector.
