Social Workers And Children Educators Attend Training in Bié

The Citizen (Dar es Salaam) Zephania Ubwani 28 June 2011 Arusha — The CRBD Bank is planning to extend services to Burundi, its managing director, Dr Charles Kimei, disclosed here at the weekend. He said the bank was still studying which financial institution to link up with in setting up a branch in the tiny state that joined the East African Community (EAC) in 2007. He revealed this to reporters during the bank's shareholders' conference which ended in Arusha on Saturday.

Kamacupa — Some social workers and early childhood educators are attending as from Wednesday a training in Kamacupa district in the central Bié province, aimed at improving services to population.

The event, promoted by the provincial welfare and social reintegration department, is also aimed at empowering the social workers and early childhood educators with knowledge that will better serve the society and secure efficiency of personalised services in children community centres.

On the occasion, the local administrator of Kamacupa, Maria Madalena Domingos, highlighted the importance of the training because it aims at fulfilling the 11 commitment towards to children.

The training will last two days.
