Alebu — The setting up of foam factory in Alebu, Gash-Barka region, is nearing finalization, according to Mr. Fikadu Tekle, head of Gedem Construction Company in the region.
He pointed out that foam-concrete building complexes suit the weather in the region, and that the new foam factory in Alebu would ease the delays that used to be encountered in bringing supplies from the foam factory in Massawa.
The major foam factory which is expected to begin service soon would make due contribution in saving time and money as regards the construction of building complexes.
Mr. Fikadu further indicated that the construction of major bridges in the region along the rivers of Alebu, Girasha, Gash and Tokombia are vivid demonstration of the competence of Gedem Construction Company. He noted that the company is equipped with sufficient manpower and machineries, and commended the dedication of staff members in the implementation of projects.
