Niko Kranjcar’s agent has revealed that the midfielder’s future will be decided by Tottenham, with the Croatian linked with a move away from White Hart Lane this summer.
Serie A side Fiorentina have reportedly shown an interest in the 26-year-old, but his agent Adrian Aliaj insists any move depends on Tottenham.
“At this moment I cannot comment on any market rumours, it is for Tottenham to decide whether the player leaves or not,” he told firenzeviola.it.
Kranjcar played a bit-part role for Spurs last season, making just 21 appearances for the club, and manager Harry Redknapp has already revealed that he has to offload a number of players this summer before he can add to his squad.
However, Aliaj refused to comment on any transfer speculation, insisting only that Kranjcar needed more playing time.
“I read a lot of news about him in newspapers, but his future is in the hands of the English club,” he added.
“Niko has a contract with Tottenham, and then I cannot say if he wants to stay or not. Certainly his priority is to play with more regularity.”
