The National Assembly of Cameroon is once more bereaved as Hon. Mboya Mbangue Jacob from the Fako East Constituency in Fako Division of the South West Region died on Tuesday, June 28 morning after an illness.

The death of Hon. Mboya Mbangue comes shortly after that of the National Assembly Vice President, Hon. Philemon Adjibolo who died on June 12 and whose corps is still in the mortuary pending burial.

Information from the ruling Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM) Parliamentary Group office reveal that Hon. Mboya Mbangue attended the opening plenary sitting of the ongoing June 2011 ordinary session of the National Assembly. Many MPs say during the plenary sitting he started feeling pains and left with much difficulties. He was hospitalised and finally died yesterday.

Hon. Mboya Mbangue was serving his first term of office in the National Assembly. He was one of the members of the Committee on Education, Vocational Training and Youth.
