The Citizen (Dar es Salaam) Zephania Ubwani 28 June 2011 Arusha — The CRBD Bank is planning to extend services to Burundi, its managing director, Dr Charles Kimei, disclosed here at the weekend. He said the bank was still studying which financial institution to link up with in setting up a branch in the tiny state that joined the East African Community (EAC) in 2007. He revealed this to reporters during the bank's shareholders' conference which ended in Arusha on Saturday.

You will have 21 days from this Friday to file any reservations about an alcohol selling outlet near you.

According to NACADA’s Acting National Coordinator Aggrey Busena close to 21 thousands bars will not be allowed to operate unless the District Alcoholic Drinks Committee is satisfied that it would be in public interest to grant them licenses.

This will see the number of premises reduce as population density per square kilometer as well as maximum number of premises will be considered.
