State Secretary Checks Farming Activities in Lunda Norte

According to a press note, which reached Angop, the militants expressed this position during the holding last week of 7th Assembly aimed at Assessing and Renewing terms

Dundo — The Secretary of State for Agriculture, José Amaro Tati is paying on Monday a working visit to the eastern Lunda Norte province, aimed at checking the development of the farming activities in the region.

Angop learnt that the Secretary of State is expected to meet with the provincial governor of Lunda Norte, Ernesto Muangala and visit the former farming complex Cossa in Cambulo district, which is belongs to the Angolan National Diamond Company (Endiama).

The agenda also includes a meeting with local farming promoters and technicians of the Cacanda farm, as well as farming unit of the province.

Lunda Norte has potential for the development of cultures such as cassava, potatoes, bananas, oranges, tangerines, papaya and vegetables.
