Greater Accra Regional Command has began investigations into recent threats issued against the Chief Justice, Her Ladyship, Mrs Georgina Theodora Wood.

The investigations followed a directive from the Inspector-General of Police, Mr Paul T. Quaye after a complaint had been made by the Chief Justice.

A release issued and signed by Assistant Superintendent of Police in charge of Public Affairs, Cyprian Zenge said a high powered investigative team led by the Regional Police Commander, Miss Rose Bio Atinga have visited the Chief Justice to take her statement.

The team also visited the Ghana International Press Centre where the press conference was held to find out more about the organizers, the Network of Social Democrats (NESOD).

The statement assured her Ladyship, that the Police in their investigations would leave no stone unturned to ravel all those behind the crime and bring them to book.

Meanwhile, the organisers have been invited to assist the Police in the investigations.

NESOD, on Thursday June 23, organised a press conference at the Press Centre where threats were issued to Her Ladyship the Chief Justice.
