The Special Criminal Court in Banjul, presided over by Justice Joseph Enwa Ikpala last Thursday, 23rd of June 2011, adjourned the murder and robbery trial involving the state against one Musa Bah, a resident of Farato, to the 11th of July 2011 for judgment.

The Special Criminal Court adjourned the said case for judgment following the adoption of briefs by both the state represented by senior state counsel, Simeon Ateh Abi and the defence counsel, Ngozi Gbugi of the National Legal Aid Agency.

The accused, Musa Bah, is standing trial on two counts of robbery and murder, contrary to the Criminal Code, Laws of The Gambia.

The said Musa Bah is alleged to have robbed and murdered one Ebrima Sowe on the 15th of April 2010 at Brusubi in the West Coast Region of the Republic of The Gambia.
