The renowed medical doctor who decried the toll of malaria, and other such illnesses to the economy urged the leaders to take proactive steps to reduce the menace through environmental hygiene and cleanliness. The World Health Organisation (WHO) recently ranked Nigeria as one of the countries with the highest malaria burden in the world with estimated annual death from malaria at 300,000 and another 150,000 annual deaths also traceable to cerebral Malaria should be a source of concern to the leaders

Sacked Nigeria Football Federation assistant general secretary (Technical), James Peters has said that players of the Super Falcons need psychological boost to do well in the remaining group games at the on-going FIFA Women World Cup finals in Germany.

James Peters, fondly called ‘JP’ said after they were hit 1-0 by France in the group opener, that the players need a psychologist who can urge them on ahead of their remaining two matches against hosts Germany and Canada.

“This is the time to bring in a psychologist to psyche them up. I believe its not over until its over.

“They have played their first game and lost it narrowly, which is capable of dampening their moral. I believe if they are psychologically boosted, they will do well in their remaining two group games. If everything is in place, who says the Super Falcons cannot beat Germany even with home support? When everything is in place, everything is possible”, he said.
