Ibrahim Atiku wants to earn a contract at English League Two side Swindon Town
Ex-Ghana youth international Ibrahim Atiku has joined English fourth-tier side Swindon Town on pre-season trial in a bid to win a contract at the club, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
Atiku, 28, a childhood friend of Chelsea star Michael Essien, arrived in Swindon on Tuesday afternoon together with Namibian international Oliver Risser from Greek side Ethnikos Piraeus
The duo will travel to Italy with Swindon Town’s for pre-season.
Atiku had trials stints with Manchester United and Inverness Caledonian Thistle as teenager.
